Information and Education Committee: The functions of the Information and Education Committee shall be: To promote the Association's ideas, and to inform church musicians and the general public as to events and general information of the music industry. Legal and Legislative Committee The functions of the Legal and Legislative Committee shall be: To collect and analyze information useful in the business of the members of the Association, and to disseminate it to members and others having a legitimate interest in it. The Committee's actions and statements shall be at the direction of and solely for the benefit of the Association as a whole; it shall address itself to those matters of interest to the members of this Association as distinguished from legal and legislative problems that affect the members of this Association in common with other segments of the business community. Membership Committee The function of the Membership Committee shall be: To receive nominations from Members, and to investigate and submit to the Association at the annual convention or special meeting, publishers that, in accordance with Article IV of the Bylaws, qualify for membership in the Association. Nominating Committee The function of the Nominating Committee shall be: To present to the annual convention the names of the candidates for Vice-President and Secretary/Treasurer. PRO Liaison Committee The function of the PRO Liaison Committee shall be: To enhance and promote positive and productive relationship and communication between the United States performing rights organizations and CMPA. Time and Place Committee The function of the Time and Place Committee shall be: To present to the annual convention recommendations for date and location of the annual convention three (3) years in advance.
